A favorite Maine Illustrator

Friday April 6th

Today I was thinking of a favorite Maine Illustrator, Jamie Hogan.  Jamie is a very talented artists as well as a gifted teacher.  She is always sharing her knowledge with kids in one way or another.  Today I want to give a shout out to Jamie and mention a book of poetry she illustrated - Nest, Nook & Cranny poems by Susan Blackaby.

Jamie spent with my class - Read Across America  in 2012 - and the kids had a memorable day.  They were able to put their Private Eye skills to work and learn new illustration techniques.
